Chef Ivy Stark (Dos Caminos, El Toro Blanco) is helming the kitchen at this new Mexican restaurant in NoLIta’s Sohotel.

Now open in Soho at 341 Broome St. is Casa Bocado, which marks the return of chef Ivy Stark, the longtime chef at Dos Caminos who briefly helmed El Toro Blanco last year.

Stark, formerly the executive chef at Dos Caminos, Rosa Mexicano and El Toro Blanco, is behind the Mexican-inspired menu, which features toasted pepita "hummus," various types of ceviche, tacos, and larger plates such as pan roasted American red snapper and a half-roasted chicken with plantains. 

The chef Ivy Stark, who has made a name for herself in several Mexican kitchens, notably Dos Caminos and El Toro Blanco, will be the executive chef at this Mexican restaurant.
